VERB THEATRE

Reimagining the website and digital presence for Verb Theatre was an exciting creative collaboration. As a bold and forward-thinking company, Verb gave us the freedom to explore ideas and bring a fresh approach to their online platform.

To reflect their mission — creating theatrical experiences that explore cutting-edge ideas in innovative ways — we designed a sleek, streamlined website that allows their striking production imagery to take centre stage. The site highlights both past and upcoming productions while giving audiences a clear sense of the company’s creative identity.

Alongside the website redesign, we also developed a communications strategy to support Verb as they continue to grow and present new work.

Following this project, we’ve continued working with Verb Theatre on public relations campaigns for several of their productions, including We’re Gonna Die, Our Fathers, Sons, Lovers and Little Brothers, and Every Brilliant Thing.

About Verb Theatre

At Verb Theatre our mission is to provide for our audiences theatrical experiences that explore cutting edge ideas in cutting edge ways. We look to explore conversations and theatrical forms that will be important to our audiences tomorrow with our surprising, important, and innovative performances.

Formed in 2008 by former Artistic Director Jamie Dunsdon, Verb Theatre was joined by Artistic Associates Col Cseke and Jessica Robertshaw in the spring of 2009. Verb Theater Society was incorporated as not-for-profit society on May 29, 2009. Col Cseke joined Jamie as Co-Artistic Director in August 2010. In 2016, Anna Cummer joined Verb Theatre as Artistic Associate. In 2022, Kathryn Smith stepped in as Verb’s Artistic Director with artistic partner Camille Pavlenko as Artistic Associate.  Verb continues to grow and examine what live performance can be for the community we make it for. And as for you? We simply invite you to expect the unexpected.
