One of the great things about our city is that there is much opportunity to do cool things, and not only that, to implement them for the first time. So it’s wonderful to see when people actually step it up and make great things happen – enter CANIFFF – Canadian International Fashion Film Festival, taking place right here in Calgary. And not only is it happening in Calgary, but it’s being brought to you by some seriously stylish and passionate Calgarian
The festival takes place on July 22 & 23 at Glenbow Museum, and will explore the shifting landscape of fashion in film, which has become the fastest growing medium in the industry. The festival will screen films adjudicated by industry experts, and will feature guests Ace Norton and Lars Ruch from Commondeer Production Company who will be hosting a screening and panel discussion.
There’s so much more that I could tell you about the festival here, but instead, I urge you to read more on their website, and more importantly, purchase tickets and attend this first ever festival – so exciting!
And in the meantime, some photos and great fashion and Calgary insights from some of the lovely people involved in bringing CANIFFF to life! www.canifff.com
